With only 4 more days for the Scariest day of all, and I have to confess. I’ve been neglected to put my efforts into decorations.
I actually just have been thinking of this year’s Christmas Sewing Projects since October started.
Well actually since September when I made my Free Christmas Sewing Planner.
But back to Halloween.
With only 4 days left and almost no time on my plate, I decided to make something to cheer up my house.
This easy DIY Pillow is a very quick project for any beginner out there.
And the best thing is that after making them you can use this Free Stencil Template to Carve Pumpkins, make Fabric Appliques, or anything you want.
DIY Pumpkin Throw Pillow with the cutest of the Pumpkin Stencils
1- Cut out the Pillow Cover Squares
Cut 1 square that measures 16” by 16” and 2 rectangles that measure 16” by 9 ½”
Of course, if you already have your pillows just measure the edges to make a cover that fits.

2- Print the cutest of Pumpkin Stencils and Print on the Fabric
To make these cute pillows you first have to download this FREE Pumpkin Face Stencil and cut out the eyes and smile.
Download it by clicking saving these images on your computer.
Then use your favorite Stencil Technique to Print on the front of the pillow.

3- Hem the back Rectangles
Make a rolled hem on the longest sides of the rectangles of ¼”.
4- Sew along the edges.
Face both of the rectangles with the main square with the right sides of the fabric together and sew along the edges at ¼”.
5- Insert your Pillow.
Turn the Pillow Cover inside out and insert your pillow into the cover.
6-Throw your Pillow over your couch and Enjoy!
