My Golden Thimble can’t see this information per individual. We analyze this information as the group of people who visit our site.

We do not charge you for sending you such gifts.

1.3 Who does My Golden Thimble shares your information with?

We will not sell, distribute or lease your personal information to third parties unless we have your permission or are required by law to do so. We may use your personal information to send you promotional information about third parties which we think you may find interesting if you tell us that you wish this to happen.

However to keep the functionality and the innovation of this website we use the following services that need to access to some of your information:

PayPal- PayPal is the payment gateway we use to charge for our products as is the most secure way to pay online. PayPal will use your account information to make our payments reports, we will be able to see in this reports your name, address, the status of the purchase, the time and day of payment, and the details of your purchase such as the name of the product you bought and how much did you paid for it. We do not retain or store any credit card information on our servers or at our place of business. Mail Chimp– Customer information such as name, address, and phone number may be saved when orders are processed through our MailChimp or Woocomerce cart software. This information will be used for internal analytic data processing only and it would never be shared with third parties.

Mediavine- The Website uses Mediavine to manage all third-party advertising on the Website. Mediavine serves content and advertisements when you visit the Website, which may use cookies. ExactMetrics’s purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how ExactMetrics’s visitors use its website. From time to time, ExactMetrics may release non-personally-identifying information in the aggregate, e.g., by publishing a report on trends in the usage of its website.

ExactMetrics also collects potentially personally-identifying information like Internet Protocol (IP) addresses for logged in users and for users leaving comments on our blogs. YITH WooCommerce Review Reminder– During the checkout, customers can express their consent to receive a review reminder about the product(s) they’ve purchased. If they agree, an email will be scheduled and sent in the following days after the order is completed. If they deny, the email address provided by users during the checkout and, if registered to the site, their ID, will be logged into a dedicated table in the database to prevent they receive any reminders. Members of our team have access to the information you provide us. For example, both Administrators and Shop Managers can access: the list of scheduled emails and the list of all email addresses that do not want to receive review reminders

1.4 How long does My Golden Thimble store your data?

Because we grant you an easy access to all your purchases and files you download from our site via your account, we don’t delete your data unless you explicitly ask for it (see more about how to do this in point 1.5).

This allows us to give you a lifetime access to all your sewing patterns and other purchases information.

In case that you ask us to delete any of your information, we will reserve the right to keep it for at least 60 days after any data input to keep tracking IDs to defend against shipping or legal disputes or keeping VAT information for tax audits.

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

1.5 How can you access your data storage in My Golden Thimble to see it modify it or delete it?

Access and Modify your data: All the users that either has an account created from scratch or because they purchase a product can access and modify any of their data such as name, address, phone number, and password by clicking on “My Account” tab in our navigation bar.

See your data: You can request a hard copy of your data in My Golden Thimble by sending an email to dafhtne@mygoldenthimble.com with the subject “I want a copy of my personal Data”, then for security we will ask you to confirm this request via email, and once confirmed we will send you the copy of all the data we have on our website and store on you.

Delete your data: You can request that we delete all your data on My Golden Thimble an email to dafhtne@mygoldenthimble.com with the subject “I want you to delete my Data”, then as same as above we will ask you to confirm this request via email, and once confirmed you in fact sent this request we will delete your data. You need to know that this process might take from 3 to 60 days to comply with contractual obligations and protect our website, like keeping tracking IDs to defend against shipping disputes or keeping VAT information for tax audits. If everything is ok and we don’t need to retain your data for any of this reasons we will delete it upon request.

Access, Modify or Delete your Newsletter subscription: If you are subscribed to our Newsletter you can access and update your information here. If you want to Unsubscribe from our Newsletter you can go to any of our newsletter emails and click the unsubscribe button at the end of it.

2. Return/Refund Policy

Digital Products, which are purchased as downloadable products, such as sewing patterns and printables are not eligible for return.

Once a product has been purchased by you, no right of cancellation or refund exists under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 due to the electronic nature of our products. Any refunds shall be at our sole and absolute discretion. You agree that under no circumstances whatsoever shall you initiate any chargebacks via your payment provider. You agree that any payments made by you for any of our products are final and may not be charged back.

In case of broken links or errors in your file, the customer will be required to send a screenshot of the problem trough My Golden Thimble Contact form to get the new right file.

3. License of Use Policy

Your purchase of one or all of our products constitutes our granting to you of a non-exclusive, non-sublicensable, non-transferable license to download and access that product for the purpose of your own personal use and reference, and print for your own storage, retention, and reference (the “purpose”). You agree that under no circumstances shall you use, or permit to be used, any product other than for the aforesaid purpose. For the avoidance of doubt, you shall not copy, re-sell, sublicense, rent out, share or otherwise distribute any of our products, whether modified or not, to any third-party. Not one of our Digital Products can be shared, copied or resale under any circumstances.

4. Intellectual Property Policy

The Digital products, whether modified or not and all intellectual property and copyright contained therein, are and shall at all times remain our sole and exclusive property. You agree that under no circumstances, whether the product has been modified or not, shall you have or attempt to claim ownership of any intellectual property rights or copyright in the product.

5. Coupons and Discounts Policy

Coupons: Coupons are a regular way to reward our customers and can be used by applying a special code to the Checkout Process. All coupons are tied to their own terms and conditions, that you can find on this list.
COUPON #launch50: This gift certificate is not redeemable for cash. This gift certificate is non-transferable and resale is prohibited. If a gift certificate is lost, stolen, destroyed or used without permission, a replacement will not be provided. Promotion valid only up to 3 products per client.
