For this year’s trick or treating, you only need a few materials to make the cutest treat boxes. You can put candy in and give them as a stylized treat.

It doesn’t matter if you will put candies for kids or maybe use them as a Halloween party favor. Everyone is going to die for these boxes!

I honestly adore how this little craft came up.

Making these cute toilet paper roll Halloween monsters was so easy and fast that I would make a few dozens to give away on this year’s Halloween Trick or Treat.

What I loved the most about this project is that you only need a few materials, which you probably already have at home right now.

I used craft paper from a book I purchased a long time ago. It comes in a lot of different colors. Getting these sorts of materials in the bundle is way easier and more convenient for me if I want to improvise a quick craft such as this one.

Are you ready to make these cute Halloween Treat Boxes? Let’s do this!

1. Start with an empty toilet paper roll.

You’ll need a lot of empty toilet paper rolls to start with. Clean them off any paper leftovers and choose different craft paper colors for your treat boxes. We went with black, orange, green, white and yellow. Grab some white glue and paper scissors.

2. Wrap the tube with paper.

Use a pen or a pencil to mark the height of the toilet paper roll in your craft paper. Then cut a rectangle long enough to wrap the toilet paper roll entirely.

Depending on the design, you will need to add the hair of the monster (like on the pumpkin and Frankenstein treat boxes). Repeat with all the boxes.

3. Wrap the tube and glue the ends.

Next, wrap the rectangle paper around the tube and glue the edges so it won’t move. If you are going to make the Pumpkin or the Frankenstein designs, glue the “hair” on top of the rectangle before wrapping it in the paper tube.

4. Fold the tops or glue them close.

Depending on the monster design, you will fold the tops with your thumbs. Do this by pushing the center fronts and backs with your thumb. The two sides should finish with a pointy end. This part of the box will act as a closure so you can put the candies in.

You will want to glue one of the ends flat on other designs. To do this, press the tube from the center front. Then apply glue to the inside of the tube with a brush and press to close it.

5. Decorate the faces.

I recommend waiting until you finish with the folds and closures to add the details like the eyes, the mouth, and other design elements to your Halloween treat boxes DIY. To make the eyes, I used a whole puncher, and for the mouths, I just cut a small piece of paper in the shape of a half-moon.
