The Magnolia Tunic & Top Sewing Pattern is a wide neckline A-line top with positive ease on the hip area to give you the freedom of movement and comfort you need to be on a stylish top all day long.
Oh! And did I mention that you can use this pattern on both knits and wovens??

NECKLINE VARIATIONS
On the neckline, you will have several options to choose from. First, you have two types of depth. The boat neckline and the deep “U” neckline. Both can be finished either with a bias tape binding or a neckline band.

BODICE VARIATIONS
Here you can choose a flat basic bodice or if you want to give your top or tunic more style you can use the front and back top panels and the “V” front slit variation.

I made the tunic version of this top and I LOVE IT!!! super easy and oh so comfortable. I had found remnet material for $4 which made it even better. A top like this in the store will easy cost $30 or more. Can’t beat a few hours, fabric of MY CHOICE and having the perfect top in the end for under $10!!!!

Absolutely love this tunic top. Such an easy sew and with so many variations to choose from you can easily make one for every day of the week. Brilliant for novice and seasoned dressmakers/sewists alike with easy to follow instructions with pictures to help. The only thing you’ll find hard is choosing which one to make first.
