Description
The Iris Drop Shoulder Pattern is a super fun top and crop top with a lot of elements you can mix and match.
You will find the four basic variations: the tie-back waistbands, closed sleeves and waistbands, a completely open back without any bands, and a closed t-shirt design for the chill days.
You will feel fabulous with this fantastic drop-shoulder pattern top. The top’s closed fit will give you an excellent silhouette that will stand out at your waist.
For this pattern, you can use any knit fabric that is at least 50% stretch crosswise. Mix and match colors, prints, and even textures!
You will find the boat neckline and drop shoulder sleeve on this pattern. The back has an open slit option that you can use with or without the waist and hip bands. You also have the option of not wearing the bands at all on the crop top or hip length variation.
This last variation looks way fancier, and you can totally make it to wear at a party and even a concert!
The best thing is that you can sew this drop shoulder pattern from start to finish in less than 2 hours!! I have even made the simple variation without bands in under 1 hour. This makes this project a fantastic option to get new top patterns ready as you need them for you to create something fun and stylish to wear.

Our third variation is perfect for the ones who rather have a more discreet top and yet enjoy a good and fresh design. This drop shoulder pattern has a close back and uses sleeves and waistbands.
