Printing Trouble Shooting

All of our patterns come in PDF Letter size page, and some of them also include an A0 size printing option.

For printing, you should always check the “real size” and “no margins” options before clicking the print button. To learn more about printing and assemble your patterns go to this tutorial.

Print on Letter Size Paper:
1.- Print only the first page of the pattern and to check the “TEST SQUARE” measurements.
2.- Once you are sure you got the “TEST SQUARE” right, print the rest of the pages with this following options: “No margins” and “Real Size”
3.- Assemble the sewing pattern by forming the gray circles on the corners of each page.
4. DO NOT overlay the pages one over the other. They have to be right next to each other even if your printer, printed with a margin.

Print on A0 Paper:
1.- Save the sewing pattern file and take it to your nearest printing shop. Ask them to print the file in “Real Size”
2.- Check that the “Test Square” has the correct measurements before taking your pattern home.

My Pages don’t match:
Make sure you printed on “real size” option and that your printer is set up with the correct paper size (letter size).
If there your printer doesn’t allow a “borderless” “print without margin option” use the gray circles to try and match the best you can the pages. Remember that they should be right next to each other.

My Printer doesn’t allow “borderless” options:

In this case, you have to options:

1. Check out online for your printer model and how you can change the margins options to its minimum so the “gap” is as smaller as it can be. Then assemble as indicated in the instructions. Connect the small space with a pencil like this:

2. Take your pattern to an Office Depot or a similar printer and print your Pattern in A0 format. This will save you the trouble of assembling your pattern and you can go straight to cutting

As much as you need, once you buy your pattern is yours! We recommend you download it right away though, so you can’t start sewing ASAP

How many times can I download my pattern?

It depends, on most cases you can only download it 2 or 3 times because of security reasons. This is because of the digital nature of the product. So make sure that you can save it in a safe place when you choose it’s time to download your pattern.

All though, you can always download new versions of them if they are any.

How can I know what size to choose for my pattern?

All of our patterns have measurements specifications, you need to check this before to choose your size. For that, you need to know ahead some of the most common measurements such as chest, waist and hips grid.
